IBCLC lactation care · Treasure Valley & virtual

Expert care.
Deeply personal support.

From early feeding questions to complex feeding challenges.

Daniele Johnston, IBCLC, CST, CFT

Personal care

Care that feels personal, because it is.

Every mother and baby bring a different story. I want to understand yours.

My approach combines clinical expertise with time to listen, observe, and understand the whole feeding picture.

Whether you need help with a painful latch, reassurance that feeding is going well, or support through a complicated oral or functional feeding concern, we’ll work through it together.

You don’t have to choose between expertise and personal care. You deserve both.

How I can help

Sometimes you just need help with a latch. Sometimes the answer requires looking deeper.

I’m here for both.

  • Latch and positioning support
  • Breastfeeding and milk-transfer concerns
  • Milk supply, pumping, and bottle-feeding support
  • Breast and nipple concerns
  • Infant oral-motor and functional oral assessment
  • Tongue-tie and oral-restriction assessment and support
  • Pre- and post-frenotomy support
  • Structural and functional factors affecting feeding
  • Craniosacral Therapy (CST) and Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT), when appropriate
  • Prenatal preparation for breastfeeding

Relationship & continuity

And I’ll be with you throughout your journey.

From our first visit through follow-up and discharge, I’ll get to know you, your baby, your goals, and your story. With each visit, we’ll build on the trust and understanding we’ve developed together, so your care feels personal, connected, and consistent as your needs change.

My goal isn’t to make you dependent on me. It’s to help you understand your baby, trust yourself, and move forward with confidence.

The Pure Latch philosophy

Mother the mother, while she learns to feed her baby.

So much attention turns toward the baby after birth. I care for you, too: listening when you’re overwhelmed, encouraging you when feeding isn’t going as planned, and helping you understand what you’re seeing in your baby.

01

Feed the baby.

Protect nourishment and develop a feeding plan that works for this mother and baby.

02

Support the mother.

Listen, encourage, and care for the woman doing the feeding.

03

Restore function.

Look beyond symptoms when oral, structural, or functional factors are interfering with feeding.

04

Build confidence.

Help mothers understand their babies, trust themselves, and move forward with practical tools and clarity.

Reassurance

You don’t have to wonder.

  • You don’t have to wonder if your baby is getting enough milk.
  • You don’t have to wonder if your latch is normal.
  • You don’t have to wonder if pumping is working.
  • You don’t have to wonder if it’s time to seek help.
  • You don’t have to wonder if you’re doing enough.

You don’t have to figure it out alone. We’ll figure it out together.

Beyond the visit

Abide & Nourish

Abiding in Christ as you nourish your baby.

Abide & Nourish is the Christ-centered encouragement community of Pure Latch, a place for mothers on every feeding journey to find Scripture, encouragement, and practical, lactation-informed guidance as they grow in confidence, nourish their babies, and abide in Christ.

We nourish moms so they can nourish their babies, however their baby is fed. Whatever your feeding journey looks like, Christ is present and trustworthy through every outcome.

Christ is the Vine. Our Rock. Our safe harbor. Our Hope.
